Hi, my name is Jeff Gregson and I am an introvert. I know, big surprise, an introvert writing about being an introvert. However this is not what I am passionate about. I am crazy excited about helping people over come their beliefs and fears to be who they want to be. As you can imagine, I've been on this road myself. Have I made some progress? I'd like to think so. Do I have a ways to go? Yes, of course! But what I don't do, is hold myself back with fear and anxiety.
You are probably wondering what I've done to over come this fear. There is an old saying by Zig Ziglar "If you help enough people get what they want in life, you'll get what you want". I am fortunate to work as a mental health counselor, who specializes in working with individuals with anxiety and depression. What I've had seen, is individuals riddled in fear not only overcome this anxiety, but find extreme joy and prosperity. Why? They have faced their fear and felt a renewed lease on life. I have been able to go on this journey many times with my clients, reminding me of my own path of change.
The real change begins when a person realizes that what they fear, is fear itself. When we challenge these fears, we realize that the monster does not have any teeth! We begin to realize that people are not spending all their free time talking about our failures and insecurities. When we realize that we can be accepted for who we are, and that our weaknesses can be endearing, real change begins.
Please join me and many others who are uniting to begin to Fight Their Fears, Not Themselves. By doing subscribing to my email list, you'll revive weekly "battle techniques" to fight your fears and move on to your dreams.
